This scholarship shows UC?s kaitiakitanga towards international students beginning their studies onshore in 2022, offering the student?s wh?nau additional peace of mind that their students have a safe place to live in 2022 and 2023 at Te Whare W?nanga o Waitaha | University of Canterbury. UC acknowledges the challenges that current Year 13 students have faced, especially being separated from their wh?nau for a long period of time.Value/Benefits:a. Full cost of accommodation at Ilam Apartments in first year of study.b. $5,000 towards the cost of accommodation at Ilam Apartments, or equivalent UC accommodation, in the second year of study.c. Additional support and assistance during residence in Ilam Apartments, including a Residential Assistant with international student experience to support. Level of Study: Undergraduate.Closing Date: Not applicable.Tenure: Two years.Number Available Annually: Varies. Applicable Enrolment During Tenure: First year enrolment in an undergraduate programme at the University of Canterbury. Citizenship/Residency Requirements: Recipients must be full-fee paying international students who completed their secondary school qualifications in a ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ secondary school, are currently located in ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ and must be 18 years of age or over by the official course start date.For more information, please read the regulations for this award: Click here.
