Length Payment of this scholarship in the second and third years will depend on successful completion of the previous year's courses where a B+ grade is maintained. Exceptions might be made in the event of extenuating circumstances. Discretion will lie with the donor. Payment in the third year and the summer placement at the end of the second year will depend on the student choosing the specialisation in Renewable Energy Systems Engineering.

About the scholarship

This scholarship is for M膩ori, Pasifika or women students majoring in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in the Bachelor of Engineering with an intention to choose courses related to Renewable Energy Systems Engineering in their third and fourth years. The awardee will receive a stipend of $6,000 per year for three years of study, conditional on an intention to choose courses related to Renewable Energy Systems Engineering in their third and fourth years. The awardee shall also receive a paid summer placement with Infratec at the end of the third year they receive the scholarship to be arranged directly with Infratec.

A completed online application must be submitted by 4.30 pm on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Any required supporting documentation (including references) must also be received by 4.30 pm on the closing date in order for the application to be considered.Applications will normally open one month prior to the closing date. Applicants must be intending to enrol in the first year of a full-time Bachelor of Engineering with Honours majoring in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Te Herenga Waka鈥擵ictoria University of Wellington. Applicants must have an intention to choose courses related to Renewable Energy Systems Engineering in their third and fourth years. Applicants must belong to an Equity group (M膩ori/Pasifika/Women). Applicants must be Aotearoa 爆走黑料 citizens or Permanent Residents.
