About the scholarship
The Tu Ako Scholarship a graduate scholarship programme offered by the ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Army. Once accepted into the Tu Ako Scholarship, you will complete the ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Commissioning Course (11 months), graduate as an Officer into your chosen Corps and commence your career as a NZ Army Officer. During your first four years of service, you will receive a bonus of up to $12,000 per year in addition to your salary. There is no minimum term of employment or return of service for this scholarship.
What you receive
Up to $40,000 over four years in addition to salary.
Entry requirements
A Bachelor degree. You can apply during your final two years of study, or as a recent graduate. Meet the aptitude, fitness, citizenship, security and medical requirements for enlistment into the ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Defence Force. Successfully pass an Army Officer Selection Board.
