About the scholarship
The Rural Women ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Bursaries and Grants are available each year to assist with education, learning and personal development; for community projects and activities; the purchase of resources; and in times of natural disaster, all which benefits the rural community. This is a scholarship for a health worker who wishes to further his/her studies in the health and/or disability fields, with a particular focus on the provision of services to the rural sector.

Entry requirements
Applicants must be:
- a ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ citizen or permanent resident
- working in the health sector
- enrolled at an approved Polytechnic or University.
Preference will be given to applicants who are studying a post-graduate level.
Your application will be assessed on:
- How your area of study contributes to the health and /or disability sector, with particular regard to the benefits for the ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ rural community
- Your knowledge of ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ’s rural health services
- Your future career prospects in ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ’s rural health services
- Your reasons for requiring this financial assistance
