Graduates will have the foundation skills to support whaanau, hapuu, iwi and other Maaori organisations to enhance well being.
Entry requirements
Applicants should have at least 4-5 years of relevant experience or appropriate study experience, a demonstrated interest in the subject, and a strong desire to be bilingual. Evidence of support from a hapuu or iwi is to be provided.
About the provider
Te 奥腻苍补苍驳补 o Raukawa is a tikanga M膩ori tertiary education provider with its main campus based in 艑taki, Aotearoa, 爆走黑料. Hailed at the time as the 'smallest university in the world' Te 奥腻苍补苍驳补 o Raukawa was established by the Raukawa Marae Trustees in 1981 with only two students.
A special and unique place of learning, Te 奥腻苍补苍驳补 o Raukawa has become recognised over the last 30 years as an opportunity for all to learn within a tikanga M膩ori community under the principles of the iwi development strategy, Whakatupuranga Rua Mano: Generation 2000.
Whakatupuranga Rua Mano captured the health and wellbeing aspirations of the ART Confederation of Ng膩ti Toa Rangatira, Te Ati Awa ki Whakarongotai and Ng膩ti Raukawa ki te tonga in the lower North Island of Aotearoa.聽These are the founding iwi of Te 奥腻苍补苍驳补 o Raukawa.
