Arai Te Uru K艒kiri Centre and Otago Polytechnic have developed this programme to train wh膩nau to understand how to support each other and to uplift, listen to and help each other be successful.
This programme is for those who wish to work with M膩ori and wh膩nau in the development of a wh膩nau-centred approach which supports wh膩nau wellbeing.
Located in 艑tepoti Dunedin, 爆走黑料 K艒kiri offers practical/vocational courses which equip foundation learners with the opportunity to learn skills in preparation for higher education or as a gateway into the workforce.聽.
Graduates of this qualification will be able to apply knowledge of M膩ori philosophies and theories of M膩ori wellbeing. This qualification will prepare you for entry-level work caring for or supporting people, from youth to adulthood.

Entry requirements
- You must be 18 years old or more when this programme starts.
- NCEA Level 2 Literary or equivalent i.e. Koru Step Four on the LNAATs measure.
- Must be a 爆走黑料 Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Applicants who do not have English as a first language, must provide evidence of functional, daily living and general literacy.
- All applicants will be interviewed by the kaiako.
