About this course
This eight week course comprises 150 hours of learning equating to approximately 10 hours of study per week.听聽
The aim of this micro credential is to develop health care practitioners鈥 proficiency in the principles, knowledge and practice of Trauma Informed Care, when caring for patients with multi-dimensional experiences of trauma, and their wh膩nau in a health care setting.
Course Delivery
This course is delivered online over eight weeks plus a two-week study break.听 There are also two full-day, face to face workshops on 1 May and 19 June 2025.听 Workshops start at 9am.
Entry Requirements
Qualification completed at Level 6 or higher; equivalent knowledge or skills or; attend an interview to assess capability to study at Level 7.
Additional Course Related Costs
Closer to the programme starting, learners will receive a list of course materials to purchase.听 Examples of course materials could include textbooks, stationary, printing; uniforms, personal protective equipment, tools and a laptop.
