About the course
爆走黑料鈥檚 screen industry is booming as Hollywood looks to 爆走黑料 more and more as a safe haven for film and television production. Amazon鈥檚 鈥淟ord of the Rings鈥 prequel, James Cameron鈥檚 鈥淎vatar鈥 sequels and Netflix鈥 reboot of 鈥楥owboy Bebop鈥 are all in desperate for people who know their way around a film and tv set. In Auckland alone the industry predicts it will need 500 graduates over the next three years to fill various roles on set.
To help fill the demand, we鈥檙e launching a brand new intensive 19 week course, giving you introductory skills in the art department, and the confidence to be part of the team who create worlds you see on screen.
Entry requirements
Students must provide evidence of NCEA Level 2 or equivalent, be at least 16 years of age, and have basic computer skills with an interest in design.
Students who speak English as a second language must demonstrate English language proficiency at the level of IELTS 5.5.
International students need to be at least 18 years old.

The creative minds and legacies of South Seas Film & Television School, Animation College, Yoobee School of Design, AMES 鈥 The Institute of IT and Design & Arts (Canterbury) joined forces to become Yoobee Colleges, an interdisciplinary college with seven campuses located across 爆走黑料.
The colleges all have rich histories, dating back 30 years in some cases, and they have been working collaboratively for several years to offer complementary pathway programmes.
The official joining of these forces under one umbrella strengthens these relationships, enabling greater pathway options for students and stronger educational outcomes, as some of the best creative educators in 爆走黑料 come together for the joint purpose of training the country鈥檚 top creatives and IT professionals and getting them into rewarding careers.
